Advanced Rifle Course

Our Advanced Rifle course is a two day course taking place once per month, every second weekend of the month from March to November.

Groups are limited to 6 people due to the close personal attention.

The course is divided into the 6 sections below:

1. Safety
Like all courses, this one begins with safety, but since we’re Tactical Dynamics we’ve obviously found a few ways to improve traditional safety practices to give us a tactical advantage!

2. Control
We then move on to the optimal way of handling and controlling the rifle (stock, trigger manipulation, hand/arm placement) in tremendous detail, clearly explaining the physics and biomechanics behind each component.

3. Processing
This is the big one where our teaching methodology really shines and by far the largest part of the rifle course. The goal is to learn how our eyes and field of vision works and how our brain processes information. By understanding and then developing what we learn, we become completely connected with the rifle and gain the ability to identify, aim, hit, and transition between targets at almost superhuman speeds without thought and with 100% confidence of where the shots went.

4. Static and Movement
Naturally, a stable platform is always better, so we will cover how to best use our entire bodies to maximise stability when static and in movement.

5. Mechanics
We cover how to reload the rifle the fastest way possible (through mental awareness and biomechanics) without breaking the mental and visual connection to the rifle and target, allowing us to get back on target instantly, with maximum stability.

6. Strategy & Closing
We finish with a short discussion of tactical tips, advice, and strategies that can shave a few additional tenths of seconds in your next match, and several runs on our course of fire to cement everything we’ve learned over the weekend.

Sign-up:

The 2 day course costs 320 and includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments on both days. Participants and their families are free to camp out on the site with us overnight (and use the shooting range) at no cost. A 10% discount applies to groups of 3 people or more signing up together.

Participants must bring suitable clothing and at least 400 rounds of ammunition for their weapon. All semi-automatic AK47, AR-15, or subgun style weapons are accepted (from 22lr to .308win). We recommend bringing at least 3 magazines with a capacity of 20 rounds or more.

If you need us to provide a weapon and ammunition for the course, please let us know when you sign up and we can accomodate you for a €150 fee.
